    The Softshell Clams are a pale white, oblong shaped brittle bivalve (animal with 2 shells) clam, with a spoon-shape notch on the inside tip. Softshell Clams feed by filtering out phytoplankton and organic particles from seawater. They can grow up to 15 cm in length.
