• Description

  The Moose is the largest member of the Deer family. An adult male can weight around 450 kg. They are excellent swimmers. The Moose is very aggressive during the mating season. They have a well developed sense of hearing and smell.

  Conifers or Softwoods, Forest, Forest Edges, Fresh Water Ponds, Freshwater Marshes, Mixed Woods, Moist Woodlands

• Interesting Fact

  Moose can dive up to 5,5 meters and stay under water for 30 minutes while looking for underwater plants.
