• Description

  The Double-crested Cormorant is a large blackish bird with a small double crest of black and white feathers in breeding season. It has a bare patch of orange-yellow facial skin.

• Interesting Fact

  These birds eats fish and hunt by swimming and diving. Cormorant feathers are not waterproof so they must dry them out after spending time in the water.
